Tuscan, European, Human. Maybe Italian. Born in 1981, I left my home city in 2009, and I have been living in Berlin since 2012.
Until the late 2017 I spent my career working as IT professional in multiple, often international projects, still I saw less world than I wanted to.
At some point I decided to leave for my very first trip outside Europe starting from 2nd December 2017, that incidentally was also my 36. birthday.
When in February 2018 my trip to South America came to the end, I asked myself what I was supposed to do with this blog. Closing it, keeping it as it was, or maybe taking that trip as just the first “episode” of Come Away with Dan.
I left the question open for a while, even tried to make it kind of a travel blog. But this blog ended its (active) function the moment I left Lima in January 2018. Still sometimes I come back here, to take a look to the memories of these days. And ever time is a bit like being on the Trip again.
